Laundry & Ironing

• If you are busy, ironing is easily ignored until, all of a sudden,  no one has anything to wear! Let Poppies make routine ironing part of your regular service.
• Many clients need help with heavier laundry. Poppies can iron sheets, pillow cases and duvet covers. We will make beds.

Some Poppies have local arrangements with a laundry or dry cleaner and can take and collect bedding and larger items such as duvets and curtains as part of a regular service.

NOTE: One or two outlets do have an ironing drop-in service. Please check with your local outlet to see what services they can offer.

Health and Safety

Please ensure any equipment  is safe for our staff to use. For example: Be sure your ironing board won’t collapse and electrical appliances are properly checked and tested.

For best results with Laundry please say what wash cycles and temperatures you use.
